Green Bay Wheelchair Wash
Last month, we hosted Options for Independent Living’s Wheelchair Wash. It was a great opportunity to connect with another local organization and show how we support one another in Green Bay. Numotion provided safety inspections and the Knights of Columbus Council 617 did a fantastic job getting supportive devices squeaky clean and looking good as new. Our courtyard was buzzing with activity; we had some members come out and enjoy some rolling tacos while they waited for their devices to get cleaned up. It was a perfect way to spend a summer afternoon.

Garden Gala Silent Auction, Sunflower Sweepstakes, & Plant Sales
Things have been a little hectic at Curative Connections East. We are deep into Garden Gala prep and are expecting over 320 guests at the event! If you’re not attending, no problem! You can still participate and win! The silent auction is open for bidding through 7 p.m. on September 9. Advanced sunflower ticket sales are open until 5 p.m. today. There are only 50 tickets available so make sure to get yours for a chance to win an AriensCo 90th Edition Snow Throw package. Thanks to our floral sponsor, Schroeder’s Flowers, we have 50 plant baskets for sale. They will be used to turn our event space into a nighttime garden, but attendees can stop by the plant stand and claim their favorite to take home after the event. Plants can also be purchased online and picked up at Curative Connections East through September 12.
Kickoff for Curative Raffle Ticket Sales
September is a busy month around here. Right after we wrap up the gala, it’s time for Kickoff for Curative on September 21. Make sure to join us at D2 Stadium District to watch the Packers vs the Browns at noon.
We have over 70 baskets this year and have started selling basket raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets at the Curative East front desk. Need not be present to win.
