A Rising Tide
The demographic changes occuring in northeast Wisconsin over the next several decades are staggering.
The Challenge and Solution
The challenges posed by this “silver tsunami” necessitated Curative Connections’ Rising Tide capital campaign, an $8.5 million dollar initiative to renovate its main facility on Green Bay’s east side. Since 1978, this 65,000 square foot building has served the community well, touching the lives of thousands of people each year. However, our communities’ needs and demographics have changed over time, requiring improvements to our physical space.
Curative Connections and its many stakeholders—including program participants and their families, staff, board members, donors and community members—understand the demographic trends and the limitations of our main building. We envision a Curative space that:
- Makes far more efficient use of the space we currently have
- Provides more and better space for people’s personal care needs
- Expands client-centered technologies
- Fosters connections among clients and staff while offering a more natural and homelike setting
This vision will enable us to meet the projected increase in demands for Curative Connections’ services, resolve our current capacity issues, and transform the space so that it better matches our warm and caring culture.
Curative Connections invites the community to support its Rising Tide capital campaign. Our goal consists of $8 million for capital improvements and $500,000 for endowment and program needs. We are close to achieving the goal. Please join other supporters in this once-in-a-generation effort.
Invest in our Future
Curative Connections’ Rising Tide Campaign will enable our community to meet the challenges posed by the county’s rapidly growing number of older adults, including those living with dementia, as well as people with disabilities and those with neurological impairments.
Please invest generously in this community project to enable our friends and neighbors to achieve their goals for independence for decades to come.
