Are you are Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist with a focus in Cognitive Retraining who would enjoy being able to have significant time to really get to know and work with a person? You will be able to help them regain, relearn, refocus, and adapt to life changes they may be experiencing due to a Traumatic or Acquired brain injury or other neurological impairment.
Essential job responsibilities:
- The development of rehabilitation plans and provision of appropriate services for the purpose of assisting members in reaching their rehabilitation goals for personal and community independence.
- The Brain Rehab & Wellness Program provides a unique and fulfilling opportunity for you to use your functional cognitive retraining skills in a group environment. The members you serve become another part of your treatment team by providing support and wisdom to their peers, thus allowing your training, skills, dependability, and compassion to make an even greater impact on lives.
- You will be working with a multidisciplinary team to complete intake and continuing assessments to determine individualized programming needs to maximize member success.
- Other responsibilities include curriculum development, planning and leading individualized member centered groups, providing case management, daily documentation, and collaborating with the member’s interdisciplinary team.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- National certification through the National Board for Certification
- License in Wisconsin Occupational Therapy
- Valid driver’s license
Starting Wage: $33/hr negotiable based on experience
