Work, Life and Social Skills Training

Work, Life and Social Skills Training

Our Employment and Training program is designed to help adults with disabilities gain employment skills to find and maintain a job in the community. Members work on developing soft skills, relationship building, positive workplace habits, and communication skills. Through partnership with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Curative Connections guides members through the job seeking process. Through job coaching, resume writing, interview skills development, and internships, members are supported at every step of the pre-employment process and after.

In addition to employment services, Curative Connections offers a Life Skills program for individuals with disabilities who are looking to gain independence. Through a mix of classroom and hands-on learning, members learn the essentials from cooking to financial basics. Members in this program are out in the community actively working toward skill development and real-world application.
