The Employment and Training program at Curative Connections is two-fold. Curative Connections staff are committed to helping members get as close to their dream job as possible. The program takes a hands-on approach to skill building and utilizes a combination of classroom and work-site training.
The classroom portion of the program focuses on topics that can be applied in a workplace setting. Members are asked to examine possible workplace scenarios and how they would respond to them. The other portion of this program is work-site site training, which allows for career exploration and gives members the opportunity to apply the skills they have learned in a supervised environment.
Members are supported by staff, who help with goal setting and creating a plan that guides the member through their time in our program.
The employment portion of this program is in partnership with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). Curative Connections supports members with job coaching, resume writing, interviews skills, and more. Curative Connections believes in setting our members up for success once they achieve employment and provides support during every step of their employment journey.
